A perfect score is five discs in each slot to equal 100 points. After 3 rounds, the score is calculated by tallying the value of the discs according to slot placement.
Notice each slot is numbered for its point value (2, 3, 4, 1). A disc in each slot, forming a row of 4 across, doubles the point value (2+3+4+1=10, but doubled = 20). Two discs in each slot forming 2 rows, doubles the value to 40; three in each slot forming 3 rows = 60; four in each = 80. A perfect score (and main object) is five in each, or 100 points. Illustrations above may help.
Again, a disc in each slot across a row equals 20 points.
When discs are in the slots, but do not form a complete row across, the odd discs are scored individually according to the number on their slot.
As one can see, establishing “rows” increases the score.
A disc played is a disc played; if it goes off the board or back under the crossbar, it is dead for the rest of the current round, but may be used in the next round.
Discs jumping across scoring gate into scoring slots are OK as long as the shot originated from under and behind the crossbar.
Discs are not counted in slot if they protrude from the front of the scoring gate.
